Rotational TPC meeting at Bbaale Subcounty Headquarters.
The CAO Kayunga led a team of Departmental Heads, section heads, SACAOs and Town Clerks to Bbaale Subcounty for a technical planning committee meeting.
The CAO thanked members for the adoption to the rotational approach of holding TPC meetings at Subcounties.
The following SACAOS Bbaale, kangulumila SC, kitimbwa TC and SC, Nazigo SC, and the Clerk to Council presented their performance reports.
The District Water Officer gave a status report of Bbaale water supply system and assured members that if the ministry approves and gives ago ahead, the community will begin utilizing this water facility by the end of this FY.
He implored the team to prepare for the national assessment exercise that will take place next week.
CAO further urged the health and education department to work with water for people (NGO) so as to prepare for the World Toilet Day where Kayunga has been chosen to host.
Informed the SACAOS and town clerks to mobilise community for the ongoing Integrated Child Health days (ICHD) vaccination exercise which will end on Sunday 17th November 2024.
CAO Implored the rewards and sanctions committee to convene a meeting and select employees who will be recognized at the end of the year.
He further Instructed DCAO to convene a meeting with the staff of Community based Service department.
The next TPC will be on Wed 11th Dec 2024 at kayonza Subcounty, said CAO.
Clerk to council thanked CAO for securing funds for capacity building for the District Public Accounts Committee scheduled for 14th November 2024.
The Chairperson LC III highlighted challenges with the prolonged animal quarantine that has led to loss of local revenue and challenges at Bbaale HC IV.
CAO awarded certificates to distinguished best serving carders in the Subcounty.
