COMMISSIONING OF CLASSROOM BLOCKS IN 5 SCHOOLS IN KAYUNGA TOWN COUNCIL AND SUBCOUNTY

The Minister of State for finance and planning Hon Amos Lugolobi and District leadership Commissioned Classroom blocks in 5 Schools in Kayunga Town Council and Subcounty. The Schools are Sezibwe CU, Namulanda RC, Kayunga Mixed, Bukujju UMEA and Kanjuki CU Primary Schools.

The headteachers had challenges of inadequate classrooms, latrines, staff houses, water sauces and staff.

 The CAO thanked Hon Lugolobi for his high lobbying Capacity and cautioned the community against encroachment on school land especially Ssezibwa C/U.

The LCV applauded the Minister for his efforts and pledged Desks to Schools as the District Contribution.

The RDC who was represented by the DISO congratulated parents upon receiving facilities for their Children and urged them to bring learners to school since no fees is required.

The Hon Minister appreciated the District leadership for the Cooperation and hard work and encouraged religious leaders to pray and fight illiteracy in communities.

He promised to lobby more and make Kayunga a model District.
