MINISTER AMOS LUGOLOBI COMMISSIONS CLASSROOM BLOCKS
On Friday, 28th October, 2022, the State Minister for Finance and Planning who’s also the Area Member of Parliament for Ntenjeru North, Hon Amos Lugolobi with the District Chairperson Hon Muwonge Andrew handed over newly constructed classroom blocks in five (5) schools within the Sub counties of Busaana and Kayunga.
While commissioning the projects, the Honourable Minister explained that, the infrastructure is part of government’s agenda to promote free and quality education in the country and reiterated the Government's commitment to infrastructural development in all its schools and hence encouraged the parents to support government’s vision to educate every child of school going age.
Hon. Lugolobi also promised to establish a boarding section and to look for funds for renovation of staff houses at Namulanda CU Primary school in Kayunga Subcounty.
The District Chairperson Hon. Muwonge Andrew called upon the leaders of the schools to guard jealously the buildings they had received by keeping them in good shape and maintaining them.
Classroom blocks were constructed in the five schools of Kanjuki Umea Primary School with a 3-classroom block, Busaale CU with a 3-classroom block, Nakaziba CU with a 4-classroom block, Namulanda CU with a 5-classroom block, Bugaddu CU with a 3-classroom block and Busaana CU with a 3-classroom block and a staff house.
Resident District Commissioner Hajji Ddumba Moses called upon the community to support the NRM government and its programs like the PDM and Emyooga.
In attendance was the CAO Mr. Batambuze Abdu, DRDC Cadre Mawerere Peter, Secretary for Education Hon. Kamanda Fahad, DEO Dr Bubaale Dan, Area District councilors and Kayunga Sub County Chairperson.
