UNYPA Team meeting with stakeholders at kayunga District Headquarters.
The Uganda Network of young people living with HIV/AIDS (UNYPA) held a meeting with stakeholders at the District headquarters.
UNYPA is an NGO that creates an enabling environment for all young people living and affected by HIV/AIDS to meaningfully participate in programs that improves their livelihood.
UNYPA enables positive and productive lives to all young people living and affected with HIV/AIDS.
This is done through prevention,care and treatment.
Planned Activities ;
1. Inception meetings
2. Contracting consultancy firms to produce HIV prevention episodes.
3. Contract a radio station to air HIV prevention messages.
4. Production and disemination of ICT materials.
5. Quarterly committee out reaches with partners.
Expected Outcomes :
1. Increased awareness and education on HIV prevention and treatment.
2. Involvement of key stakeholders in delivery and implementation of this project.
3. Support and community mobilisation of these activities.
4. Ensuring that they liase with different partners for collaboration within the District.
5. Signing a memorandum of understanding with the District.
The team leader requested for support from the district.
"Working together with you will give us a great push and we shall achieve particular results" Said the Team leader.
The organization believes that if this project is well implemented, We shall end HIV/AIDS by 2030.
