Hon Minister Alice Karamuzi Kaboyo Presiding over Liberation Day Anniversary in Kayunga District.

Kayunga District celebrated the 39th liberation day anniversary at St.Mathias Mulumba play ground in kitimbwa Subcounty, kayunga District.

In attendance were Political leaders, Cultural leaders, Religious leaders, NRM supporter, Veterans, Women council leaders, Security team, Technical staff among others.

The Chief Guest was Hon Minister For Luwero Triangle Alice Karamuzi Kaboyo.

The Minister saluted all patriotic Ugandans in their desirous and selfless efforts geared towards sustaining the victory of the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony , She promised to get an appointment with veterans and find solutions to their challenges.

She discouraged wrangles among NRM party members in kayunga and called for peace talks.

The Minister pledged her commitment on behalf of government to increased accessibility of public services and infrastructure in creating an inclusive society thus achieving vision 2040.

RDC Kayunga applauded President Museveni for his exceptional efforts and commitment to
the stability of the country.

She commended the President for his social and economic advancement through PDM, YLP, UWEP, which are key in enriching Ugandans.

The Chairperson LCV kayunga thanked the masses for turning up in big numbers and highlighted that government is in touch with contractors to bbaale galiraaya road construction which is at it's final stage.
He reminded residents that no compersation will be made by government to the affected individuals.

Chairman NRM requested government to intervine in the land wrangles in the District which have become a security threat.
