INTERNAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP

An official from the office of the Prime minister together with the District technical team had an engagement meeting to demonstrate and disseminate the 2022 assessment report to the Technical staff.

The meeting further provided new intentions for planning purposes and make improvements in the current financial year.

The main focus areas included Education, Health, Water and Environment. The District rating in terms of performance was 125 out of the 154 local governments assessed.

COMMISSIONING OF CLASSROOM BLOCKS IN 5 SCHOOLS IN KAYUNGA TOWN COUNCIL AND SUBCOUNTY

The Minister of State for finance and planning Hon Amos Lugolobi and District leadership Commissioned Classroom blocks in 5 Schools in Kayunga Town Council and Subcounty. The Schools are Sezibwe CU, Namulanda RC, Kayunga Mixed, Bukujju UMEA and Kanjuki CU Primary Schools.

The headteachers had challenges of inadequate classrooms, latrines, staff houses, water sauces and staff.

 The CAO thanked Hon Lugolobi for his high lobbying Capacity and cautioned the community against encroachment on school land especially Ssezibwa C/U.

COMMISSIONED CLASSROOM BLOCKS IN SIX SCHOOLS IN BUSAANA SUBCOUNTY.

The Minister of state for finance and planning Hon Amos Lugolobi together with a team of District leaders commissioned classroom blocks in six schools in Busaana Subcounty.

The schools are Namusaala RC, Bumaali CU, Bumaali UMEA, Kiwangula CU, Lusenke CU and Namirembe Public.

The CAO applauded Hon Lugolobi for providing community with services like roads, Water sauces, Health centres and classroom blocks.

The Chairperson LCV thanked the minister for his efforts and pledged desks to schools as the District contribution.
