KAYUNGA DISTRICT PDM IMPLEMENTING TEAM RECEIVE 157 TABLETS

The RDC Kayunga District has officially launched the distribution of 157 tablets to PDM implementing team at the District headquarters.

The Ministry of ICT and National Guidance recently handed over 60247 tablets to the Ministry of Local Government to enhance the performance, monitoring and supervision of PDM programs.

The RDC applauded the PDM implemention team for working hard in implementing the NRM manifesto.

She emphasized safety of the tablets and called for Transperancy and right selection of beneficiaries.

She warned those extorting money from beneficiaries to desist otherwise action will be taken if found.

Mr Yiga Charles the DPO provided an overview of the PDM program and informed the team that the first batch for FY 2024/2025 had been released by government awaiting preparation of beneficiaries who will go through farmer field schools and concept of community based facilitation with the help of extension workers before disbursement.

Mr. Mutebi Allan the Senior Information Technology Officer urged recipients to ensure effective use of the tablets to achieve their objectives.
