KAYUNGA DISTRICT GETS NEW SERVICE COMMISSION

Kayunga District sworn in its new members of its District Service Commission following the expiry ot the term of office of the incumbent commission last year.

The new members are Sentongo Badru Lukwago as the commission Chairperson, Galiwango Kizito Ahmed , Naiga Florence Sekabira and Matovu Jonathan as members of the new District Service Commission.

Mr. Sentongo replaced Hajji Mukwaya Lutakome whose term expired after serving for 8 yeras.

The Chief Administrative Officer, Ms Adongo Roseline Lukoni congratulated the commission members for having been approved by the Public Service Commission  and argued them to start off work immediately in oeder to clear the case backlog.

She advised them to adhere to the oath of secrecy they had taken while executing their work saying that all the decisions they take as members of the commission  should be kept secret.

The District Chairperson, Mr. SSerwanga Tom William tasked the members to serve the district diligently.

The Incoming Commission Chairperson Mr. Sentongo promised to work closely with all the relevant stakeholders within and outside the district so as to make sure that the District recruits the right people who will realise the vision and mission of the District.
