CAO meeting with members of the Fourth Estate at the District Headquarters.

The CAO Mr Mahabba Malik held a meeting with media personnels and Heads of Departments at the District Headquarters.

The meeting was intended to build Cohesion between the Heads of department and the fourth Estate. 

This building block marks the beginning of a new chapter. 

We need to work together for collaborative linkages.said CAO.

The Chief Administrative Officer emphasised

 government commitment and interventions towards service delivery but lacks publicity and media coverage.

He called for objective and balanced reporting of District affairs. 

He implored every Department to budget for the media as a component and all monitoring activities should be done with at least 2 or 3 media personnels so as to market the District positively. 

The journalists highlighted a number of challenges including concealing of information by the heads of department most especially the Health department.

The Heads of department pledged support and cooperation towards working with the journalists.
